
Collinsville Fire / Rescue covers 100sq miles, this includes a section of Grayson County, The City of Collinsville, The community of Ethel and a small portion of Cooke county. These areas are covered with one station located at 117 E Woodland in Collinsville. We currently have an Engine, a 2000 International 1250gpm with 1000gal. of water, a Tanker/Pumper 2003 International 1250gpm with 1800gal. of water, a Booster 1999 Ford F-550, this unit has 750gal. water, 500gpm pump, Onan generator with 4-500 watt lights, a 2005 Ford F-350 4x4 Brush truck 500gpm pump with 300gal of water and a 1996 Chevy 4x4 Suburban used as a Battalion / EMS Response unit.
We have 19 Volunteers in place at this time. We continue to grow and continue to meet the needs of the City. We have recently upgraded all of our EMS equipment to provide Advanced Life Support due to extended Ambulance response times to our area.
Our district includes: Collinsville ISD K-12 with appx. 600 students, a daycare, a 80 bed nursing home, three convenience stores, two banks, downtown stores and restaurants, and a large number of ranches, dairies, and farms.
