Southmayd Road: At approximately 4:15 am 2-1-2005 Collinsville and Whitesboro Fire Departments received a call of a structure fire East of Collinsville approximately 5 miles out from the closest fire station. The first unit arrived on scene to find flames out the roof of the West end of the structure, Engine 74's crew made a interior attack thru the front door of the structure and contained the fire to the West end of the structure. Tanker 72 set up there 1800 gallon portable drafting tank and began drafting operations with Engine 74, while Whitesboro 237's crew assisted on interior operations. Gunter Fire Department responded with there mobile cascade unit to supply interior crew's with additional replacement bottles for the SCBA's.
